Tom has provided mental health services since 1995, specializing in marital and family counseling. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University and has 16 years of experience with Riverside County Department of Mental Health, including 12 years as a supervisor. Tom’s expertise includes marital communication, conflict resolution, premarital counseling, child and adolescent issues, parenting, family conflict, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and pastoral marital restoration.
Susan Little, M.A., LMFT
Assistant Director of Genesis Counseling Services, Victorville Center
Susan thrives on supervising counseling students to become well-prepared counselors who help clients integrate faith well. In the therapy room, Susan enjoys working with individuals to build self image and improve relationships, support people with change of life challenges, parenting, grief, couples, anxiety and depression.
Katlyn Finch, M.S., APCC
Katlyn is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Master’s degree from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s degree from Missouri Southern State University. With seven years of experience, she supports individuals, couples, and families facing challenges like depression, anxiety, parenting, self-harm, and marital concerns. Katlyn integrates evidence-based interventions rooted in God’s Word to guide her clients towards healing within the context of God’s redemptive story.
Kalaya Irby, M.S., MFT & LPCC Practicum Student
Kalaya is a dedicated professional who earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. She applies her expertise at Genesis Counseling Service’s Victorville location under the supervision of director Tom Thomazin. Kalaya’s passion lies in supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges specializing in individuals, women, children, fostering healthy relationships, and strengthening family dynamics. Kalaya’s commitment to her clients is evident in her unwavering dedication to their well-being and growth.
Arleen Tello, MFT Practicum Student
Arleen Tello is currently an MFT practicum student at Touro University, and training at Genesis Counseling Services. In addition, Arleen has worked in the Substance abuse and Addiction field since 2008. Arleen has worked with women and women with children in several treatment facilities, specializing in alcohol and substance abuse recovery. Arleen is also a recovered individual familiar with the process of building, strengthening and goal setting.
